Your VariableDisplay player is automatically configured to perform a daily reboot to ensure optimal functioning. (Restart 04:00 AM in standard configuration. Time can be modified by the user according to specific needs)

It is recommended to create files and dimensions adapted to the screen definition (or video projector) used.

However the most common dimensions are as follows:

  • 1920 x 1080 (or 1080 x 1920)
  • 1280 x 720 (or 720 x 1280)

For the Dynamic Totem, it is recommended to create files with the following characteristics:

  • dimensions: 1080 x 1920
  • Picture resolution: 72 dpi

Before contact Caldera’s VariableDisplay technical support, please follow steps bellow:

  • Check whether the player is electrically powered
  • Check if the screen or the projector is electrically powered
  • Check that the HDMI or VGA cable between the VariableDisplay player and the screen is plugged in

No. Installing additional software on the media player or modifying the operating system settings on the media player directly, with the exception of network settings or changing the screen orientation from landscape to portrait or back, may affect the operation of VariableDisplay software and void the warranty.

If a change is required for reasons of configuration, contact your dealer or our support department before. These changes can affect the proper functioning of the product.
